Australia is considered a dream destination for many in Israel, despite Australia’s vast distance away. Filmed six months after the October 7th attacks, nine Israeli-Australians reflect on the home they left behind, and what has been lost and gained, offering diverse perspectives and sharing stories, which are different and yet strikingly similar.

For those who moved from the opposite side of the globe, identity and culture are central to the long and at times challenging journey to call Melbourne, Sydney or Mullumbimby home. What emerges in this intimate documentary is a human and complex picture of these diverse migrant stories.
